Hothouse Flowers
Formed in 1985 as a busking duo 'The Incomparable Benzini Brothers', the addition of Pete O'Toole led them to change their name to Hothouse Flowers. Championed by the likes of U2, Hothouse Flowers released their debut in 1988 which reached the number-one slot in the Irish charts within a week. Since then they have become one of Ireland's finest and most successful rock bands.
The Hothouse Flowers are set to play Rock City on Tuesday 3 November and we've got two pairs of tickets to give away. If you want to be in with a chance to win, all you have to do is email win@leftlion.co.uk with the subject heading 'Houthouse Flowers Comp' before midday on Friday 30 October and we'll notify the lucky winners by the end of the day.

We have a favour to ask
LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
