2014 has been a busy year for the Nottingham based film collective, Coalescent Films – not only were they eventually fully formed this year but they have produced several short films already.
Coalesced off the back of the feature film Legacy last year (currently in post-production), they are now embarking on their next feature, Castle Boulevard. The film centres on Dominic, who is a naive photographer from a remote village who finds himself in the city (us, duck), which holds wonder and magic for him in the form of trendy jazz clubs, quirky friends and limitless opportunities for finding his 'perfect picture'.
Written and directed by Nick Archer, and shot almost entirely around Nottingham, they are in need of a little bit of help from you. They are looking to raise £1500 through Indiegogo to cover basic production costs, such as securing vital locations and equipment. Anything from a pound to the full whack would be much appreciated – perks include signed DVDs and soundtrack, as well as Extra and Executive Producer roles.
Castle Boulevard’s Indiegogo campaign is running until Thursday 30 October 2014.

We have a favour to ask
LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
