This Friday has a distinctly Jazzy feel with Deep Sound Channel, Julian Thomas and The Viginia Creepers
Deep sound channel

This month's LeftLion Presents has a distinctly Jazzy feel in the air. Come down to the Malt Cross from 7.30pm this Friday (26th November) for some laid back vibes.

Notts Jazzy funk trio Deep Sound Channel will be in the house to weave a textured layer of sounds with their guitars and drums.

Julian ThomasAlongside them will be singer songwriter Julian Thomas (pictured right). He promises a few lively numbers as well as a few that the couples will like...

Also in the house will be The Virginia Creepers, a Jazz band who play a range of covers and their own material.

As usual we will have our Sonitus DJ's Yemi Akinpelumi and Mr Reason, playing a range of chilled out Latin vibes. Synoptics will be taking care of the visuals. As usual, get along early if you want a seat.

We will also be launching the first copies of LeftLion Magazine Issue 2 on the night. Get your copy at the Malt Cross first!!

NEW: We will also be joined by some poets from the Notts DIY Poets crew who will perform live

We have a favour to ask

LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
