Vee Adu

17-year-old singer-songwriter from Nottingham, Vee Adu is making waves in the local music scene with her soulful tone and powerhouse vocals. Vee’s original material delves into the complexities of betrayal and emotional experiences, drawing listeners in with her relatable, but authentic storytelling.

Having performed at a variety of venues across the country, including Metronome, Rescue Rooms, and Rough trade, Vee has successfully captivated audiences with her dynamic live shows, highlighting her incredible vocal abilities time and time again. Her guest appearances at Broadway Cinema, Bodega, Pitcher and piano, and Peggy’s Skylight have further showcased her vocal versatility as an artist, performing for crowds in very intimate venues.

Alice Weatherall

With her folky “Mitchell-esque singing and jazzy guitar style”, Alice has crept her way into Nottingham’s music scene as a session violinist and artist in her own right. Her dark, playful lyrics and moody melodies are engaging and well considered and her voice is bright and soaring. She takes inspiration from the likes of Hindi Zahra, Billie Holiday, Joni Mitchell, Patsy Cline, The Beatles, and from the traditional Cajun music she heard growing up. She plans to release her first EP before the end of the year and will be releasing live recordings on the Summerhouse Recording Studio YouTube channel very soon.
