A talented multi-instrumentalist, Aki Remally began playing from a very young age and chose the guitar as his primary medium of musical expression. Or rather, the guitar chose him. He can also turn his hand to the keys, bass and percussion. The Songbook is just one of Remally’s musical ventures. He’s made a name for himself in the jazz and funk scenes, playing sold-out shows and festivals in the UK and Europe for the last 20 years.
Fraser Urquhart is one of the most in-demand young jazz musicians on the scene. He’s performed alongside a long list of genre legends. He’s also featured on the BBC’s Jazz Nights at the Quay, and a great many major festival slots.
