The Hungry Pumpkin
The Hungry Pumpkin is a family owned café serving all locally sourced, freshly prepared tasty nosh. Their breakfasts are halfway between proper fancy and a right good fry up. One of their finest is ‘The Pumpkin Special Breakfast’ which comes with two chorizo sausages, eggs, mushrooms, peppers and a toasted ciabatta. Set in Nottingham’s Lace Market, it’s close enough to all the action but quiet enough if you’re looking for a place to nurse your hangover from one too many the night before…

Bill’s
If you want a Breakfast worthy of taking a picture for the Snapchat story this is the place to come as it’s right fancy. If you imagine every way possible to beautifully present an egg, these guys can do it; I’m talking poached, fried and scrambled, and you have ‘em with avocado, bacon, salmon, and chili flakes. That’s only the start of it. For under ten quid if you go for this one, you will not be disappointed.

Sobar
All day breakfasts available - surprisingly enough - all day, every day. They’ve got every type you could possibly need; English, veggie, big, light (go for the big ya wimp), vegan and Welsh. There’s also muffins and croissants jam packed with everything you could want. This place is a refreshing alternative as it’s an alcohol-free zone. So, if you were looking for somewhere to have the hair of the dog after a dodgy night out, you’d better go somewhere else.

The Pudding Pantry
If you want pancakes this is the place for you. This place is fluffy pancakes galore; you can have them absolutely covered in bacon, syrup, blueberries, honeycomb, salted caramel, ice-cream, chocolate, raspberries, toasted marshmallow, apple compote, coconut cream, meringue and a whole lot of whipped cream. Now if there’s not something you like in that whopper of list, you’ve got bigger things to be worrying about other than what to have on yer pancakes.

Annie’s Burger Shack
Now this place is what we’re talking about. Annie’s takes American style breakfast to the max, offering a different style of breakfast from some of the greatest places in America. You can take your taste buds on a journey to The Pacific Northwest, New England, The Southwest, or The South itself.  Saved you a few bob off a holiday there ay?  Within these you’ll find everything from a whole load of pork, pancakes, crab cakes, and chilli to some good, old fashioned All-American waffles.
