They've been delivering tasty treats...
With their hefty size and decadent flavours, Doughnotts are the dream makers of doughnuts in our fair city. You can pop into the store to grab one, or even order a whole box straight to your door, which is very handy in these times.
Now they’re getting well-deserved national recognition, as they’ve been nominated for Deliveroo’s Best Dessert-Only Restaurant award. The winner is decided by public vote, which you can take part in by clicking here or by scanning the QR code below.
As an added bonus, when you vote you’ll be entered into a prize draw to win £500 of Deliveroo vouchers – that would bag you 156 doughnuts from Doughnotts. Mmm, imagine that.
Daniel Byrne, Marketing Manager at Doughnotts, says: "We're absolutely over the moon to have been put forward for Best Dessert only restaurant in the Deliveroo awards.
“As you can imagine it's been a testing few months but the support we've had from all our customers has been incredible and we couldn't have gotten to this point without all of them."
Doughnotts was founded in 2015 by Wade Smith and Megan Scadden, who have since opened stores in Nottingham city centre, Leicester and Lincoln.
We’re proper proud to see a Notts business be up for such a prestigious award, and we would love to see ‘em get the crown as well. You’ve got until Friday 16 October to vote, so hustle your bustles onto the Deliveroo site ASAP.
We have a favour to ask
LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
