Lost City Adventure Golf has a new addition to its offering this Christmas, throwing interactive darts into their entertainment mix…
The Lost City Adventure Golf, based in The Cornerhouse, has announced an exciting new addition to the venue bringing two lanes of interactive darts to their adventurous mini golf offering. This unique twist on the pub classic is set to launch this weekend for walk-in customers with online booking available from Monday 25 November.
Darts is no longer the preserve of overweight, beer-guzzling men these days. If you feel that describes you then you can still rock up and have a game, but it’s clear there's a growing and more diverse interest in the sport.
Or should that be "game"? Look, we're not here to get into culture wars around such competitive pursuits - however you play it, the darts offering in Nottingham is about to get a shot in the arm. Just don't throw them at anyone please, that's a metaphor, and we don't want any arm injuries
Lost City already houses two, 18-hole indoor adventure golf courses and a Tiki bar, and they hope the new darts addition will offer a fantastic new way for guests to enhance their experience.
“We are incredibly excited to introduce interactive darts to our offerings at The Lost City Nottingham” explains Lane Scott, Director at The Lost City “Our goal is to continually enhance our guest experience and this new, exciting offering allows us to do just that. We can’t wait to see everyone enjoying this new, fun-filled activity.”
The games are designed for players of all skill levels, from the seasoned player to absolute novices. Combining the traditional fun of darts with cutting-edge technology and enhanced game options, the new experience promises to be a hit.
Guests can add a game of darts to their adventure golf bookings or simply visit the venue to enjoy the darts experience on its own, with the "oches" (the line you stand behind in a darts game) available during all opening hours. Whether visitors are planning their outings in advance or just fancy some spontaneous fun, both the darts and mini golf are perfect for those seeking fun and novel activities.
Interactive darts is priced at £8 per person per hour and to celebrate the launch, The Lost City is offering a special half-price discount for the first week, allowing guests to enjoy this exciting new feature for just £4 (per person per hour) from Friday 22 - 29 November.
You need to be over 13 years old to play, but if you are under 16 you'll need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian to join in the fun and to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all players.
