Patti Cake$ Opening Night Party
Start your weekend off with a bang and head down to Broadway for the new film release; Patti Cake$. It’s rather fitting if you ask us, cos the film is all about an aspiring young female rapper from New Jersey and her rise to glory and there’ll be an all female line up ranging from DJs to singers to keep you energised way past your bedtime. But hey ho, it’s the weekend now, so who cares? Join some of Notts’ most bad ass females, Alice Short, ElJay, Veronica Caine and DJ Ms Tempz, for a night of forward thinking and hard hitting lyrics and beats.

DJ Dibz and Friends
Good ol’ Hoodtown just keeps on giving these days and this event is no exception. Three of bassline’s most proficient DJ’s and producers, and also Midlands natives DJ Dibz, DJ EJ and Mr Virgo, will be gracing the stage at the Irish Centre this Friday night in a bass-driven frenzy. They are, in their own right, some of the few original pioneers left still pushing the ever-growing bassline and UKG scene, and they never ever disappoint. They’ll be joined by local selectors, Poach and DJ Rudes who’ll be warming up for the madness that's about to pop off. Grab a JD and coke, whack them shades on and shake yer bumper an’ dat.

It ain't all just tofu and soya milk round here, me duckies. Wrap yer gobs around some vegan cocoa cheesecakes or try out some Mexican bbq jackfruit. Seriously, the yamming possibilities are endless.
