Nusic Presents Spotify - Artist & Manager Masterclass
This masterclass is set to help any of you who are desperate to get some more plays on your tunes. Drew Lam, part of Spotify UK’s Artist & Manager Services team, will be joining out friends at Nusic to run a workshop to help musicians build their online presence and promote their music. The Age of Fake: Can Young People Trust the Media?
It’s time to talk abaht that thing that everyone's talking about. Fake news. Now that every Tom, Dick and ‘Arry can set up a blog and give us opinion as fact, it’s hard to know who to trust when it comes to credible news sources. This event will see a debate between students and journalists to reflect on how you young’uns engage with the media and using technology to make the media more transparent and accountable. Five Leaves Folk Night with Ewan McLennan
If you need a pick me up for a dreary Thursday night, look no further. Scottish folk musician Ewan McLennan will be hitting up Five Leaves for a night of singer-songwriter goodness. Having just got back from tour with political activist George Monbiot, expect Ewan to play tunes that reflect his burning desire for social justice.
