Cluedo

When: From Monday 28 March

Where: Theatre Royal

How Much? From £18.50

Inspired by the classic board game, Cluedo is heading to Nottingham in Theatre form. Starring Michelle Collins as Miss Scarlett, and Daniel Casey as Professor Plum, this production promises to bring the crime game to life with a comedy twist. Directed by The Play That Goes Wrong’s Mark  Bell, this will be a goodun.

Fight Club Screening 

When: Monday 28 February, 8.30pm

Where: Savoy

How Much? £6.95

Twenty three years after its original release, you can catch a screening of David Fincher’s iconic Fight Club at the Savoy this Monday. Hosted by The Loft Movie Theatre, there’s sure to be a community feel for all you film buffs. In an ongoing series of bringing cult and classic films to the big screen, this is a one off screening.

Yonaka 

When: Tuesday 1 March, 7.30pm

Where: Rescue Rooms

Formed in Brighton, Yonaka are an English Rock band made up of Theresa Jarvis, George Edwards and Alex Crosby. Known for their heavy riffs and dark pop sound, the band rose to prominence after touring with Bring Me The Horizon in 2018. Now they’re celebrating their powerful new release Seize the Power. A personal favourite for this writer, they’re worth seeing.

Nottingham Street Club Presents FLAVA

When: Friday 4 March, 5pm

Now in their brand spanking new location, The Nottingham Street Food Club are hosting a launch party for their new event FLAVA. Featuring great DJ’s alongside food from The Smokehouse, El Contador, Karke Lebanese Street Food and Block Party Bakery, how could you turn this down?

Redt’Blue Film Premier 

When: Saturday 5 March, 10am

Where: Broadway

We love a Nottingham based project, and Redt’Blue is exactly that. Telling the story of Mansfield, Redt’Blue follows the ex coal mining town that abandoned its labour heritage in 2017, becoming a conservative majority. Filmmaker Jay Martin asks why and how this happened. Premiering this Saturday, you can watch the full award winning documentary at Broadway Cinema.

Marine Store Dealer

When: Saturday 5 March, 8pm

Where: The Old Bus Depot

Marking The Old Bus Depot as an exciting music location, I Am Not From London are presenting a show headlined by Marine Store Dealer. Formed in London, Marine Store Dealer are a three piece band, inspired by 70s punk, 80s New Romantic, and 90s indie. Also joining them will be indie pop singer Beejarabbit and emerging duo Scratchcard.
