This Is The Kit 

When: Wednesday 9 March, 7pm

Where: The Glee Club

How Much? £20

Known for their Alternative Rock and Folk Rock sound, This Is The Kit are a band fronted by British musician Kate Stables. They will be playing at The Glee Club this Wednesday in celebration of their long awaited album Off Off On - now out with Rough Trade Records. Featuring songs including Found Out, Started Again, and This is What You Did, the album has been met with widespread acclaim.

Nusic Academy Workshop

When: Thursday 10 March, 5.15

Where: Metronome

How Much? Free

Nottingham is known for its rich and thriving music scene, and no one supports that more than Nusic - the social enterprise helping local musicians. Taking place this Thursday, Nusic are presenting a chance to learn more about the music industry with their Nusic Academy Workshop. Created to help small musicians, you can meet, listen to, and ask questions from industry professionals.

White Lies

When: Thursday 10 March,6.30pm

Where: Rock City

London post punk band White Lies are making their way up to Nottingham this Thursday. Aptly playing at Rock City, the five piece will be performing songs from their newest album As I Try Not To Fall Apart, featuring songs like Am I Really Going to Die, As I Try Not To Fall Apart, and Breathe. A great one for any rock or punk lovers.

International Women’s Day Horror Film Screening  

When: Friday 11 March, 7pm

Where: Nonsuch Studios 

How Much? £10

In honour of International Women’s Day, The Monstrous Flesh Collective and Fortune & Glory Film Club are presenting a one off film screening and panel discussion. Showcasing a double bill of films, you can catch short film Catcalls (2017), alongside feature length Assasination Nation (2018). Centred around women in horror, the showing will be followed by a panel discussion with Amy Harris and Clelia McElroy - horror fanatics and researchers.
