Years & Years
When: Monday 23 May, 6.30pm
Where: Motorpoint Arena
How much: £35.65
Is there anything Olly Alexander can’t do? He’s been a Radio 1 DJ. He’s starred in BAFTA-winning TV shows. But now he’s going back to his roots - bringing up-tempo, catchy tunes to live audiences. Taking his chart-conquering new album Night Call on the road, this is a chance to see an exciting talent at the top of his game. Grab your tickets while you can.
Silence of the Lambs
When: Monday 23 May, 8.30pm
Where: Savoy Cinema
How much: £5 - £6.95
If you haven’t seen Silence of the Lambs, you can now fill an inexcusable gap in your film knowledge. And if you have seen it, you can now watch it again. Featuring two hours of near-unbearable tension, as well as that ridiculously memorable performance from Anthony Hopkins, this is the definition of a classic - and there’s nothing better than experiencing a classic on the big screen.
Film Club Takeover: Victoria
When: Wednesday 25 May, 8pm
Where: Broadway Cinema
How much: £3.50
It’s a good week for screen fans - with local film group Jackie Treehorn Productions bringing 2015's one-take wonder Victoria to Broadway Cinema. Aside from being an impressive filmmaking feat from a technical point of view, this is also a gripping story in its own right. And with tickets available for just £3.50, you can’t go wrong.
The Great British Cheese Club
When: Thursday 26 May, 6.30pm
Where: Malt Cross

This one really doesn’t need much spiel, in our opinion. Inspired by all things cheese, Delilah Fine Foods are heading over to the Malt Cross to host a deliciously good tasting event. You can join Nik Tooley as he runs through a curated selection of cheese from all over Britain, taking you behind the country's great dairy industry. Guaranteed to be both fun and factual, this night is one for the foodies among us.
