Campus on Camera

Bring your camera for this half-day workshop with Martine Hamilton Knight, as she guides you round the University of Nottingham’s campus buildings, some of which feature in the new Pevsner guide to the county. Participants must be comfortable walking distances on campus with mild gradients.
1525: Introduction to Zine Making

An introductory zine-making workshop for 15–25-year-olds where participants will learn three simple techniques and begin making their own zine which they can take home and finish. All materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Lilac Grove EP Launch

Go and support some local music! This four-piece band from Beeston released their new EP RESONATE on 12 August, so join them to hear the EP in full live for the first time. Molars and Guerrilla Radio will also be playing support sets beforehand. Tickets are £5.98 if you buy in advance, or £8 on the door.
Nottingham Carnival
When: Sunday 21 August, 2pm
Where: Victoria Embankment

Nottingham Carnival has numerous troupes from Nottingham and around the country taking part in the colourful parade, which starts at 2pm and is free to watch. After the parade, they will perform on the dedicated stage within the Carnival site. Entry into the site costs £5, and under-12s go free.
