Let the Sunset

Nottingham’s newest student-led event is all about music (and more) with a purpose. Kicking off in support of the International Day of the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Let the Sunset will see a mostly female line-up, which includes Tracy Luv and Megs, take to the stage for chilled out tunes to raise money for Nottingham Women’s Centre.
"Theatre of Borsch" - Charity Gala Six Course Dinner

Fancy some high end Ukrainian snap? Fancy donating a bit of cash to a good cause? This charity dinner sees famous Ukrainian chef, Yevhen Klopotenko, who won Ukraine’s MasterChef in 2015, visiting Notts to cook up a 6-course storm. There’s live music from a Ukrainian folk ensemble and a charity auction too. As you might expect all the money raised goes to humanitarian aid charities working in Ukraine.
Let's Beer - Beer and Cheese Tasting

David Bowie’s lesser-known banger, Let’s Beer is also a night of top quality drink and cheese tasting, promising a proper treat for the senses. With each guest getting to sample a range of beers matched with carefully selected artisan cheeses, you’ll feel proper fancy - and proper full - by the end of the night.

Jake Bugg

Sisters in Dub

Rounding out a very musical week are Sisters in Dub, an all-female Reggae collective made up of Danniella Dee, Cherelle Harding, & DJ Kat. Breaking new ground in a largely male-dominated area of music, these lot are bound to get you on your feet, with their consuming, energetic sound rivalling some of the best in the business.
