This adaptation of the award winning novel by Christy Lefteri is set to combine a beautiful but deep and dark story of an artist in Aleppo during the war. The play explores the journey faced by those fleeing Aleppo, and the challenge of connecting with loved ones thereafter. Not only is the story eye opening, but will definitely leave you contemplating the tale days after. If you don’t fancy reading the book, catch it at the Playhouse this week.
Inner Rooms, Inner Minds

Fancy something calmer and quieter? Inner Rooms, Inner Minds, is that in an art exhibition and more. The artist Edwina Kung, discovers her safe space to be within her art, causing her to explore the very depths of her mind and put that onto paper. Her art can open you up to thoughts you’d never considered, but also bring clarity to issues kept at the back of your mind. Articulating the whirlwind your brain goes through, this exhibition is one to attend.
