On the weekend commencing Friday 26 April, the popular Ay Up Market will return to Old Market Square for its third year running. The event will feature a huge array of independent retailers, from vintage clothing to homeware, as well as a stacked programme of live music and other family-friendly activities.
Live at Lunch - Music for Trumpet and Piano from the RNCM

This week the Theatre Royal's regular Live at Lunch show will feature two virtuosic young players: trumpet player Lewis Barton and pianist Chichi Li, both from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. They will perform an exciting and multi-faceted array of pieces from the 18th to the 20th century.
