Immerse yourself in a glitzy alt-pop triple bill as Notts acts Deri Sharman and Airport Dad play the Old Bus Depot with California artist Caleb Nichols. As the fifth date of Nichols' set of 2024 UK shows, touring his October 2023 album Let’s Look Back, the show promises an evening of infectious hooks and unrelenting energy; an unmissable gig if you're looking to welcome summer 2024 with some good-vibes indie pop.

The band dubbed ‘Britain’s funniest’ by The Guardian will bring their acclaimed show to the Nottingham Playhouse this month. Led by Alex Horne, creator of the award-winning Channel 4 gameshow Taskmaster, the band will provide an unruly night of both enjoyable meta-comedy and remarkable musicianship from players experienced in recording with all manner of pop artists, from Noel Gallagher to Amy Winehouse to Disclosure.

Friday night will be an unforgettable highlight in the Notts pride calendar as Queerish Notts hold their first Queer Prom at The Canalhouse. Inviting all LGBTQIA+ people who couldn't attend prom as their full, authentic selves, the event will be filled with dancing, entertainment, food and drink. The dress code meanwhile, is whatever allows you to fully express yourself.

Touring their sixteenth studio album 2023’s Human Algebra, 2 tone ska revival act The Selecter will play The Metronome on Friday. As one of the most successful ska bands of the early 80s, the group are still going strong with their joyful and danceable show set to showcase their still unparalleled style of playing.

If you’re in the mood to dance to some non-nonsense indie guitars and drums you can check out local 5-piece Sancho Panza, at the The Bodega on Saturday night. With their raw, funky and disco-tinged sound setting bar-sale records and drawing ever-larger crowds around Nottingham, the gig is undoubtedly set to demonstrate how the indie rock group are at the height of their powers.
