If you're looking to make some fun memories with your little one this summer then Gloworm Festival should sort you out. Both weekend tickets and day tickets are still on sale.

For the second instalment of Groovebox's summer terrace parties, the Midlands own Hannah Wants will DJ at Binks Yard, supported by others including Arielle Free. With food vans and glitter provided, if you're feeling like cutting a rug to some soul-shaking house beats then this could well be the party for you. Tickets are currently on their final release.

Still a highlight of the summer calendar, Nottingham Carnival will see troupes from Nottingham and beyond visit Victoria Embankment for an afternoon-and-evening-long parade, before visiting the carnival park, which will feature live bands, over 20 DJs, and world food stalls. The parade itself is free to watch.
We have a favour to ask
LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
