The Drawing Dead: Zombie Life Drawing

You may have been to a life drawing class before, but we’ll put money on the fact that it didn’t involve zombies. Held in a haunted 17th century Chapel, a professional art tutor will guide you through a structured life drawing class with a terrifying twist. Remember to take some art materials with you!

Yes, we know it’s in Derbyshire - I’m pretty sure I can hear some of you booing from here. We know that Nottingham offers plenty of great live music, but it’s acceptable to travel slightly out of bounds sometimes, especially for a festival. Headlined by Interpol, Primal Scream, and Pretenders, it’s well worth the trek.

Nottingham Poetry Festival celebrates local, national and internationally acclaimed artists, hosting an array of performances, workshops, and debates. We particularly recommend Poets off the Endz on the Saturday at Lakeside, and Yomi Sode with Gobs Collective on the Sunday at Royal Concert Hall.

With over 160 artists on the line-up, including Yard Act, Alvvays, The Murder Capital, and loads of local names you might recognise, too, it’s sure to be a day filled with brilliant live music – and lots of walking too, so we recommend you wear comfortable shoes!
